Welcome to Immaculate Conception Faith Formation 2009-2010!

 

You are in the right place… over the next year we will be changing the name of our program from PREP to Faith Formation.

Please take the time to read the following information. There are a lot of changes with policies as well as new administrative documents. I will be teaching our

7th & 8th graders this year for Confirmation I. I will only be available on Wednesday’s from 4:30pm to 5:15 and again from 6:30pm

to 7:15pm to visit with you. You may contact me any time to set up a time to meet. Kathleen Deglomine - Office:726.8111

I have not asked for a lot of parent help in the past, but I will need help this year.  There is a section on the Registration form

titled “Ministry/volunteer interests”…If you have any time to offer, please let me know.

 

POLICIES & PROCEDURES

o      Drop Off: you may drop- off student/s in breeze way starting at 5:15pm. Our evening begins in the Church @ 5:30; please try to be on time.

o      Pick up: You must park your car, enter the Parish Hall and retrieve your child from their classroom. If your child rides a bike please let Mrs.

        Deglomine know in writing as well as a “rainy day plan”. If there are people who you do not want to pick up your child please let Mrs. Deglomine know in writing.

o      If  a children has to bring a cell phone… let them know that they must be turned off while on ICCC campus, if they are using them during church or class time

        they will be collected. They will be returned only to the parent/guardian. They may turn them on at 5:30pm when they are dismissed. NO ipods, games, cameras etc. are allowed.

o      Special events such as Christmas Pageant, Ash Wednesday dinner, and the end of the year party are ALL family events. You will be responsible for your

        child/ren. Do not drop them off. If your child is a participant in the Christmas Pageant or in the Confirmation Class they will be allowed on campus with out parents and

        in the care of      Mrs. Deglomine.

o      The 3rd Sunday of every month, excluding Christmas and Easter are our Children’s Mass at 11am. Donuts, juice, coffee and fellowship following in the Parish Hall.

        Please join us. Please leave a message on my cell phone if your child is participating in the Mass, but cannot fulfill the obligation.

o      Our curriculum is the same: Sadlier “We Believe”

o      We added a Kindergarten program see 2009-2010 calendar for dates and times.

 

REGISTRATION

o      Every family needs to be a Registered Parishioners, forms are available at registration.

o      Every family needs to fill out Faith Formation registration form.

o      Every family needs to fill out one sheet per child on the “student Information”

o      NO family will be turned away for inability to pay, please see Mrs. Deglomine

o      Initial box that you received The Orlando Diocese policy on: “Child abuse and prevention” & “Internet Safety”.
